Scientists at Nutrient, a nutrient-dense food company in Nevada, are recruiting individuals to participate in a 6-week research study to determine if Nutrient's foods affect your memory. Our meals are carefully designed to include one-third of every essential nutrient that you need to be healthy.
We are seeking 45 adults, age 50-70 who are worried about memory loss. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect on memory from eating two Nutrient shakes daily for six weeks. Eligible individuals will receive food (at no cost) and be able to participate from their homes.
A few specifics about the study:
•6- week study beginning end of July*
•Consume 2 Nutrient Brain Shakes per day
•Submit a weekly electronic questionnaire
•Check in with your assigned a coach at least once a week
Overweight or obese (BMI 25-40 kg/m2)
Worried about losing memory
Have not been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or mild cognitive impairment (MCI)
May have a chronic condition like diabetes or high blood pressure, but it is well controlled
Never purchased Nutrient foods before
Be willing to consume two Nutrient brain-targeted shakes daily for six weeks
Agree to regularly consult your assigned Nutrient Coach
No known allergy to soy, dairy, or gluten
Cannot be pregnant or lactating, or trying to get pregnant
Live in the U.S.
Nutrient dense, shelf-stable items
Most are prepared by adding water or preferred milk product
All meals contain soy and many contain whey
