Take control of your sex life

We are conducting a 4-month study to determine if Nutrient meals can improve the sex life of men with a low libido. Our meals are carefully designed to include one-third of every essential nutrient that you need to be healthy. Nutrient-rich meals have been shown in two previous studies to promote weight loss without hunger. This should lead to an increased libido and improvement in testosterone levels, semen volume, and sperm count.

A few specifics about the study:

  • Consume 5 Nutrient meals daily
  • Weekly submit electronic questionnaires
  • Monthly at home sperm and testosterone test
  • You will be assigned a coach for the duration of the study and are required to check in with that person at least once a week (video, talk or text)

What to else to eat during the study

  • Drink water and other non-caloric beverages, like coffee and tea
  • Add flavor enhances to meals like lemon juice, herbs (e.g., basil, oregano, thyme), and spices (e.g., cinnamon, nutmeg, curry powder)

Healthy Foods to Add to Nutrient meals:

  • Low-fat or non-dairy products (e.g., milk, yogurt); or low-fat milks from soy or almonds
  • Skinless poultry
  • Seafood, baked or broiled (not fried)
  • Trimmed meats (no cold cuts)
  • Vegetarian proteins like chickpeas and lentils
  • Fruits that are fresh, frozen, or canned without added sugars
  • Vegetables that are fresh, frozen and canned vegetables and vegetable juices without added sodium, fat, or sugar
  • Whole grains

Shakes, Cereals, Hot Cereals

  • Any low-fat, or non-fat milk (e.g., cow's, soy, almond, cashew)
  • Low-fat, low sugar yogurt
  • Dark green leafy vegetables (e.g., spinach, collards, and kale)
  • Fruit (e.g., peaches, oranges, plums)
  • Berries (e.g., blueberries, strawberries, raspberries)
  • Nuts and seeds (e.g., walnuts, flax)

Frequently Asked Questions

Although we recommend that you only eat five Nutrient meals each day, we provided you with a list of other things that you can eat during the study. Weight loss occurs best when all five Nutrient meals are consumed daily and this improves virility. However, the Virility study last four months, so we want you to be comfortable. If you need to add a few foods or other flavorings, then please go ahead. It is best to speak first to check with your coach study coordinators:

No. The Nutrient Virility study provides more than enough vitamins and minerals to cover your needs, as long as you consume the recommended five Nutrient meals each day. Taking a multivitamin/multimineral on top of what the Nutrient meals are providing could lead to you consuming nutrients in excess of what the Food and Nutrition Board, Institute of Medicine of the National Academies determines as safe However, if your doctor has prescribed a single nutrient like vitamin D or B12, then continue taking that. You can continue using any other dietary supplement likes herbs or things like glucosamine, as long as they don’t contain vitamins and minerals.

The five Nutrient meals actually provides about 175% of the daily need for protein, so there is no need to take any more. The amount of protein that you are receiving fosters satiety and promotes weight loss.
